French Antique Terracotta Brique Chauffe-Lit 8.7"

Beautifully timeworn French antique terracotta brique chauffe-lit or bed warmer. The brick would have been heated in an oven or fire, wrapped in a cloth and then placed in the bed. This one has a beautiful brown glaze with the terracotta showing through and would make a wonderful display.

This piece has chips to the glaze.
