This 19th century, round cache pot has a crimped edge and originates from the town of Castelnaudary in the Languedoc region of South West France. It is a beautiful earthenware piece, so evocative of the South of France.
There is some wear to the glaze and chips to the edge, adding to it's timeworn charm.
